For auction is a Vintage 14K Gold Fox Brooch.  We date this pin circa the 1950's. For auction is the quite unusual fox brooch.  This fox is dressed in the full outfit of a traditional fox hunter.  A bit of irony sometimes make the best subject matter for art and jewelry and this is example certainly fits that case. The eye's of this fox are round cut red rubies that measure approximately 0.025cts each.  They display a color of red pink.  The gold on his face has been worked to remind one of a fox's coat.  Standing there with his top hat, top coat knickers and riding shoes, he looks rather sophisticated. The fox stands 1 3/4 inches in height and just over 5/8 of an inch in width.  Weighs.10.8 grams!  Excellent Condition!
